This year, LIFE Resilias was once again well represented at a sold-out Managers' Day. On Friday 25 September, Jessica Snoek (Bosgroep Zuid Nederland) and Mariëlle van Riel (Stichting Bargerveen) addressed a packed hall of interested managers from all corners of the Netherlands.

During their presentation, Jessica and Mariëlle showed how the Ecosystem Resilience Approach (ERA) can be applied to address Japanese knotweed. They discussed the underlying principles, shared practical experiences, and demonstrated how measures that increase the resilience of the ecosystem can contribute to reducing the dominance of this invasive species. The participants received concrete examples and tools for application in their own management practices.
